Welcome to Middle TN Christmas Lights

 

Welcome to Middle TN Christmas Lights, where holiday magic blends with a legacy of service and laughter! Founded by Joshua Collier and the late Scotty Barnes, we’ve been spreading joy across La Vergne, Nolensville, Franklin, Brentwood, and all of Middle Tennessee since 2019. What started as Scotty and Joshua lighting a handful of homes has blossomed into over 500 installs and takedowns from September 1 to December 25 each year, with exciting new services like permanent and landscape lighting launching in 2025. Our business grows year over year, fueled by passion and love of community.

Honoring our Co-Founder, Scotty Barnes

 

Scotty Barnes, our beloved co-founder and Joshua’s best friend for over 30 years, was a veteran who served 23 years, including two tours in Iraq. A jokester and prankster, he was the life of every party, known for fun memories and loyal sayings like “Light it right!” His honorable spirit and dedication to doing things the right way live on, though he passed suddenly in January 2025 from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

 

Founders’ Journey

Joshua Collier pours his meticulous expertise into Middle TN Christmas Lights, drawing on 15 years as a flight nurse and trauma RN to create flawless, stunning light designs that turn holiday chaos into joy. Leann Collier, a practicing Physician Assistant, brings her 18 years of nursing experience to support the vision, ensuring every detail aligns with excellence. Together, their passion began with a desire to gift families more precious time, a mission now thriving as Joshua oversees 500+ dazzling projects each year, spreading holiday magic across Middle Tennessee.

Brilliant Crew

Our brilliant crew lights up the season with talent and heart! Mark, our Shop Manager, meticulously preps every light, supports client relationships, and keeps our workshop humming with perfection. Andy, a proud Marine veteran serving as Service Manager, oversees operations, solves challenges, and warmly engages with customers. Leo, our Foreman, partners with Andy to guide the team, tackle fixes, and transform ideas into festive wonders. Together, they’ve elevated us from small beginnings to a holiday icon, launching exciting new offerings in 2025.
